The project “Heritage in Focus: Dialogue Through Time and Space” was implemented within the framework of the European Heritage Days 2025, with the aim of promoting Montenegro’s cultural heritage and opening a dialogue between tradition and contemporary approaches to its preservation. Through expert panels, the project brought together representatives of institutions, experts, and cultural practitioners from various fields, creating a space for the exchange of knowledge and ideas.
During the implementation of the project, two thematic panels were organized, dedicated to architectural heritage and the application of modern technologies in the preservation of cultural heritage. Special emphasis was placed on the importance of protecting traditional architecture, strengthening institutional and legal support, as well as on digitalization as a modern tool for documenting and popularizing heritage, especially among younger generations.
The results of the project are reflected in increased visibility of cultural heritage issues, strengthened inter-institutional cooperation, and clear recommendations for future activities, including the development of digital cultural content, the involvement of local communities, and linking heritage with sustainable development and cultural tourism.
The project confirmed that cultural heritage represents an important resource of identity and contemporary social development.
