“Andrijevica Culture Days 2025”; supported by the Ministry of Culture and Media within the programme Development of Culture in the North 2025.
The project “Andrijevica Culture Days 2025”, organized by the Public Institution Centre for Culture and Sports “Mihailo Lalić”, was implemented throughout 2025 with the aim of preserving, promoting, and affirming cultural heritage, literature, art, and creative expression, as well as actively involving children and young people in the cultural life of the Municipality of Andrijevica.
As part of the project, a rich and diverse programme was delivered, including literary evenings, a theatrical monodrama, exhibitions, a folklore workshop, film screenings, literary and visual arts competitions, as well as meetings of young writers. Special emphasis was placed on nurturing the legacy of prominent authors such as Mihailo Lalić, Petar II Petrović Njegoš, Radovan Zogović, and Vito Nikolić, as well as on promoting contemporary and young authors from Montenegro.
The results of the project are reflected in:
- A large number of cultural events held throughout the year,
- High attendance (several hundred visitors in total),
- Active participation of children and youth, including primary and secondary school students,
- Strengthened cooperation with educational institutions, cultural organizations, and prominent cultural professionals,
- Increased interest of the local community in cultural activities,
- Promotion of young talents through competitive and showcase programmes.
The project significantly contributed to the cultural vitality of Andrijevica, the strengthening of local identity, and the continuity of cultural events, confirming the role of the Centre for Culture and Sports “Mihailo Lalić” as a key institution in the development of the Municipality’s cultural life.
