This evening, the “Mihailo Lalić Days” cultural event began in Andrijevica. The three-day programme is dedicated to one of the most significant literary figures of our region and is organised by the Public Institution Centre for Culture and Sports “Mihailo Lalić” Andrijevica, under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and Media.
The opening evening was dedicated to the literary competition entitled “The Literary Journey of Mihailo Lalić”, during which the three best entries were presented and awards were presented to their authors, female students of the Secondary Mixed School in Andrijevica.
Literary Competition Results:
First place went to Sofija Stijović, a student of the Secondary Mixed School in Andrijevica, mentored by Professor Maja Folić.
Second place went to Nikolina Vučeljić, a student of the Secondary Mixed School in Andrijevica, mentored by Professor Sandra Kastratović.
Third place went to Ena Ljuca, a student of the Secondary Mixed School in Andrijevica, mentored by Professor Ljiljana Bulajić.
The evening’s programme was moderated by Kosara Đukić, while the opening address was delivered by library manager Jovanka Mirčić. The quality of the submitted entries was assessed by an expert jury consisting of Aleksandra Bakić Vujović, Jovanka Mirčić and Branka Marsenić.
We congratulate the award-winning students on their achievements, as well as their mentors for their hard work, dedication and support for young literary talents. We also extend our gratitude to the expert jury for its diligent work, to Kosara Đukić for hosting the programme, and to Jovanka Mirčić for her opening address. Special thanks go to all participants and visitors whose presence helped make the opening evening a celebration of literature, youth and respect for the literary legacy of Mihailo Lalić.

The “Mihailo Lalić Days” programme continues tomorrow, 23 October, with an expert panel discussion entitled “The Literary World of Mihailo Lalić Through the Lens of Contemporary Interpretations.” The panellists will be Milorad Durutović, Stefan Sinanović and Aleksandar Ćuković, with Darko Jovović as moderator. The event begins at 6:00 p.m.
