As part of the “Days of Mihailo Lalić” cultural event, a literary programme entitled “The Literary World of Mihailo Lalić – Through the Lens of Contemporary Interpretations” was held this evening in the Small Hall of the “Mihailo Lalić” Public Institution for Culture and Sport in Andrijevica. The event was organised in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Media.
Milorad Đurotović, Stefan Sinanović and Aleksandar Ćuković spoke about the literary achievements, artistic significance and enduring relevance of the work of one of the most prominent writers from our region. The programme was moderated by Darko Jovović.
The exceptional quality of the presentations, grounded in a rigorous literary-historical and critical approach, provided an opportunity for a deeper understanding of Lalić’s literary legacy, artistic strength and lasting relevance. Through thoughtful interpretations and well-supported critical reflections, the participants explored various aspects of the literary world of a writer whose work continues to raise important questions about humanity, history, morality and society.
This evening’s programme reaffirmed that Lalić’s work is not merely part of our literary heritage, but also a living space where critical thought, historical experience and contemporary interpretations meet.
