33rd Anniversary of the Center for Culture and Sports “Mihailo Lalić” Andrijevica

On the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the Public Institution Center for Culture and Sports “Mihailo Lalić” Andrijevica, the traditional Municipal Reciters’ Competition was held today in the main hall of the Center, in cooperation with the Elementary School “Bajo Jojić” from Andrijevica, the Elementary School “Milić Keljanović” from Konjuhe, and the Mixed Secondary School from Andrijevica.

After the opening remarks by the institution’s director, Ivan Radojević, the competitive part of the program began. The event gathered the best reciters from school competitions, who competed in three categories. The winners of all categories will represent Andrijevica at the State Reciters’ Competition in Berane.

In the category of students from grades I to V, the top three places were won by:

1. Irina Dedović, a third-grade student of Elementary School “Bajo Jojić” Andrijevica (mentor: Vesko Vojvodić),
2. Vjera Maslovarić, a fourth-grade student of Elementary School “Bajo Jojić” Andrijevica (mentor: Marijana Mašović),
3. Lana Stojanović, a fourth-grade student from the Trešnjevo regional department of Elementary School “Bajo Jojić” (mentor: Tanja Mašović).

In the category of students from grades VI to IX, the top three places were won by:

1. Todor Vukićević, a ninth-grade student of Elementary School “Bajo Jojić” Andrijevica (mentor: Branka Folić Marsenić),
2. Marija Labović, a ninth-grade student of Elementary School “Bajo Jojić” Andrijevica (mentor: Branka Folić Marsenić),
3. Radovan Babović, an eighth-grade student of Elementary School “Milić Keljanović” Konjuhe, Andrijevica (mentor: Biljana Asanović).

In the category of students from grades I to IV of the Mixed Secondary School Andrijevica, the top three places were won by:

1. Milanka Babović, a third-grade grammar school student of the Mixed Secondary School Andrijevica (mentor: Maja Folić),
2. Nikolina Vučeljić, a first-grade grammar school student of the Mixed Secondary School Andrijevica (mentor: Ljiljana Bulajić),
3. Nikola Mašović, a fourth-grade grammar school student of the Mixed Secondary School Andrijevica (mentor: Maja Folić).

All participants received appropriate awards, while the jury deciding on the best performers consisted of: Darko Jovović, journalist and poet, Kristina Babić, writer, and Aleksandra Bakić Vujović, director of Radio Andrijevica.

During the break in the program, the Cultural and Artistic Society “Komovi” performed, while the event was hosted by Ivana Zečević, Teodora Vukšić, and Jelena Labović.

It was a great pleasure and honor for us, as an institution of culture and sports, to host the youth and future of our town and to hear the power of beautiful words, poetry, and the art of speech.
