As part of the event “Njegoš Days,” the Centre for Culture and Sports “Mihailo Lalić” organized a literary evening dedicated to Petar II Petrović Njegoš. The programme was opened and hosted by Ivana Zečević, who presented the biography of Vladika Rade. A speech on Njegoš was delivered by poet and journalist Darko Jovović, who also read his own poem dedicated to Njegoš. The authenticity of the evening was enriched by gusle player Siniša Petrić, while Ksenija Guberinić, a student of Primary School “Bajo Jojić,” performed traditional songs. Excerpts from The Mountain Wreath were recited by Teodora Vukšić and Nikola Mašović, students of Andrijevica Secondary Mixed School.
Certificates of appreciation were presented to the participants by the Centre’s Director, Ivan Radojević. Despite the rainy night, the evening unfolded in a warm atmosphere filled with the messages of Njegoš’s thought.
