Today, 14 July 2026, the 24th Traditional Municipal Rapid Chess Tournament “Andrijevica 2026” was successfully held in Andrijevica, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
This important sporting event was organized by the Public Institution Cultural and Sports Centre “Mihailo Lalić” in cooperation with the Chess Club “Komovi.” The tournament was officiated by Chief Arbiter Željko Obadović, who ensured the smooth and fair conduct of the competition.
The tournament brought together 19 outstanding players from the municipality. The entire competition was managed using the Swiss-Manager pairing system under the license of the Montenegrin Chess Federation. Spectators enjoyed a series of high-quality games played in an atmosphere of excellent sportsmanship.
After many exciting battles on the black-and-white squares, the top seven competitors received cash prizes according to their final standings, while the top three players were also awarded trophies.
